Over the last nine years, I’ve learned more about the craft of photography through working in the industry as a department store studio photographer and as an assistant to other photographers. Viewing others’ different styles has helped me discover and fine tune my own style. My training from the New York Institute of Photography has also helped me tremendously in teaching me how to take my passion and creative eye to a new level.
I have an artistic approach to photography. My objective when I shoot is to capture emotions, even when shooting still life. I don’t do much of the “hold still and say ‘cheese’” photography. I’m an artist first, and therefore, slightly unconventional.
